Frequently asked questions
Choosing, sizing and maintaining replacement parts for commercial floor scrubbers and sweepers.
How do I select the right product for my cleaning need?
Changzhong offers a variety of pad drivers and brushes to meet your cleaning needs. For single-purpose machines, choose a brush plate. For multi-purpose machines, choose a pad driver.
Ground texture and the amount of dirt on the floor also help determine which product you need.
How do I match the product size to my machine brand and model?
Provide the brand and model number of the machine — it lets us determine the block size, centre hole diameter and the clutch plate needed to attach the block to the machine.
If the machine size is not apparent from the model number, please also provide that specification.
How do I break in a new brush?
Before using a new brush on carpeting, break it in to eliminate excess drag by tipping the strands and removing burrs from manufacturing.
1. Mount the brush on the floor machine and follow the application manual. 2. Find a rough textured floor, preferably unfinished concrete. 3. Run the machine dry for 15–20 minutes so the fibres take a slight set in the direction of rotation. 4. Rinse the brush to remove dirt — it is now ready for carpeting.
Are your replacement parts compatible with major commercial floor scrubber and sweeper brands?
As the direct manufacturer, our parts (brushes, squeegees, batteries and more) are engineered to fit most leading commercial floor scrubber and sweeper models — walk-behind, ride-on and robotic.
We also produce custom-compatible parts for niche or older equipment. Share your machine details and we will confirm the fit.
How often should I replace commercial floor scrubber brushes?
For high-traffic areas such as warehouses and airports, industrial-grade brushes typically last 3–6 months. For lighter use such as offices, 6–12 months.
Replace when cleaning efficiency drops or bristles fray.
What is the difference between OEM parts and your aftermarket parts?
As the manufacturer, our aftermarket accessories match OEM specifications for fit, durability and performance at a lower cost.
We use premium materials — high-carbon steel for brushes, EPDM for squeegees — to ensure OEM-level longevity.
Can I get custom-sized hoses and fittings for my floor scrubber?
Yes. We manufacture custom corrugated and rigid hoses and fittings to your machine's dimensions and flow needs, including our in-house 360° rotating connectors that reduce bending stress.
Share the inner diameter, length and connector type, and we will propose a suitable construction.
How long do your commercial floor scrubber batteries last?
Lead-acid batteries last 2–5 years; lithium-ion batteries produced in our factory last up to 10 years (1,500+ cycles).
Proper maintenance — avoiding deep discharges — extends lifespan.
What causes water marks after scrubbing, and can your parts fix it?
Water marks often come from worn squeegees with cracked rubber.
Our dual-lip EPDM squeegees are manufactured for optimal pressure distribution, and microfiber pads eliminate residue.
Do you offer replacement filters for commercial scrubber recovery systems?
Yes — we produce HEPA and nylon filters that trap 99% of debris, available in standard or high-capacity versions for large-tank machines.
Tell us your tank size and filtration target, and we will recommend the right element.
How do I choose the right floor pad?
Match the pad to your surface: white/soft for delicate floors such as marble, black/abrasive for tough stains on warehouse concrete, microfiber for all-purpose retail use.
We manufacture pads in all grades and sizes.
Can I replace floor scrubber belts myself?
Most of our belts are DIY-replaceable and come with step-by-step guides.
For drive belts, ensure proper tension — our manual includes the adjustment procedure.
What materials are your tires and wheels made of?
We manufacture tires and wheels with solid rubber for durability or foam-filled designs for shock absorption.
They are oil- and chemical-resistant, ideal for industrial use.
Still unsure which part fits?
Send a photo of the original part or your machine nameplate — we will identify it and confirm the fitment.
